how to amps calculate from 1KVA?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Answer / pillay
1 KVA means 1000 volts amps for single phase calculations
1 KVA means 1000 volts amps x 1.732 for three phase
so for 240v single phase is 1000/240=4.16 A
SO FOR 3 PH @ 415 V= 1000/415/1.732=1.39A
SO FOR 3 PH @ 440 V= 1000/440/1.732= 1.31A
SO for easy average easy calculations you can take 1.35 AMPS
for 1 KVA for 3 p;h calculations

kva is nothing but the voltage and current are directly
propotinal and there is no phase difference between them.

KVA=S , so you should know that S=Rt.(R^2+Q^2)
S=P*pf ---- (pf means power factor)
S=U*I*pf but in 3 phases you have
S=Rt.3*U*I*pf
