have low current..we can save conductor material for
transporting power with high voltage low conductor..

This is directly related to ohms law V=IR. now from this
its quite evident that V and I are inversely related to
each other. So if V is higher then consequently the I will
be lower and hence the size of the conductor neede to
transmit the power will be small.Considerable cost saving

line loss and improving the efficiency. Another reason for
high voltage transmission is Long distance transmission.
