why we used to transmitt the power at higher voltage why
not at lower voltage

This is directly related to ohms law V=IR. now from this
its quite evident that V and I are inversely related to
each other. So if V is higher then consequently the I will
be lower and hence the size of the conductor neede to
transmit the power will be small.Considerable cost saving
