"Why you consider yourself suitable for the post"..

Answer / rakesh

Dear all, mentioned below is my answer to "why do you
consider yourself suitable for the post" while applying to
one of the MNCs. And it worked!

Could this be my ‘Dream Job’ and yours ‘Dream Candidate’?

I feel myself a perfect fit for the vacant position for two
qualities I possess that shall be of your use. Firstly, the
‘person-skill’ compatibility and secondly, the moral and
ethical considerations.

Person-Skill Compatibility:

Your stated responsibilities for the vacant position
correspond to my academic background. Moreover, I am
optimistic my extra master’s degrees might be of your use
and give me edge over my rival applicants. I am 31 years of
age, without any physical or mental disease and this seems
to fit with your requirement of the age criteria of 30-40
years. You have demanded ‘extrovert’ quality in the
applicant and I assure that I am an ‘ambivert’; capable of
switching moods from introvert to extrovert and vice versa
as per need. Overall, the offered vacant position seems to
demand all-round experience in varieties of fields and that
is what I have to offer. Although I have not had much
experience in corporate sector, I assure you that I am a
fast learner and shall acquaint myself with its domain in
short time.

Moral and Ethical Considerations:

Researches show that in 85% of the cases, an applicant gets
job not because he/she is technically skilful, but because
his/her inborn attitude is morally and ethically virtuous.
Only, in 15% of the remaining cases the applicant gets job
because of his/her technical skills and expertise. Skills
deficiency could be acquired in time, but the quality of
virtuousness is an intangible asset, the accumulation of
which has a bearing of lifetime learning and upbringing.
‘Honesty’ has been, is and will be my best policy’. I look
forward to be a loyal member of your organisation and expect
win-win for both parties.
