Basiclly motor ,which converts electrical energy into
mechanical energy. In electricaly the term is to be
mentioned as "watts" .By considering as mechanical energy
commonly it is HP.

In earlier days, The power is measured by using horses.
They made horses to lift weights (say 550 pounds) and found
the capacity of the horses. They substituted engine power
by number of horses and said 10 HP or 20 HP.........
