If I want to use capacitor banks at HT (11 KV) side for
maintaining power factor then which type of capacitor
should I use? Plz give me the specification?? (I am using
1250 Kva transformer (11 KV/433V)).

Kindly note that capacitor banks are usually installed at
distribution sides not generating ends. This is due to the
fact that capacitor banks provides reactive power to the
network to improve power factor. If we implement capacitor
bank at HT side we have to increase cable cross sectional
area and Trafo copper winding. If you want specs then email

use of capacitor at HT side may be usefull if installed at
distribution yards, but it will be very much use full if it
is at load end, which redeuces line losses

Grounding. Dear all at one of my site we checked the amps at the earthing cable to the alternator it was found 125 to 130 A. at the neutal cable in same machine found 146A. in the same plant checked the earthing current on other alternator it was 52A, and neutral 116 A. we are facing problems with our controller and the card was damaged once. can that neutral/GND current be a reason? as there is common grounding for the Alternator,Brkr panel,Transformer?
