Armature: rotating part of an electric generator or motor.
Any moving part in electrical equipment which closes a
magnetic circuit or which has a voltage induced in it by
magnetic field. the simplest example is the moving contact
in an electromagnetic relay.
Armature reaction: the modification in the distribution of
the flux in a m/c due to the armature ampere-turns.

We have a bank capacitor rating of 60 KVAR for a overall load of 160 KVA and we have connected three loads of 50KVA each. We would like to auto matically correct PF using APFC. How do we design it?
Will it be OK to connect a 5MVA 33/6.6kV Ynd11 Transformer to a Star connected Motor. Or on other words connecting a Delta to a Star. I have another 30MVA 33/11 Dyn11 and would it be practical to convert it to Dd0 consequently converting the Voltage Ratio to 33/6.35kV Dd0.
