At present in india there are three operating HVDC
transmission lines(not including B-to-B)

1)Chandrapur(MAHARASTRA) to Padghe(MAHARASTRA, near MUMBAI)
(1000 MW at
±500 kV DC,800km)

2)Rihand(U.P.) to dadri(U.P.near to delhi)
(1000 MW at ±500 kV DC,900km)

3)Talcher(ORISSA) to kolar(KARNATAKA)
(2500 MW,±500KV,1367km)

It is a bipolar Transmission Line of length 1825 KM from Assam to Uttar Pradesh.Maximum Transmission Power 6000 MW and the Transmission Voltage is 800 KV.
Talcher- Kolar
It is a bipolar Transmission Line of Length 1376 KM connecting Eastern and Southern regions . Maximum Transmission Power is 2000 MW and Opertional Voltage is 500 KV.
