Server Ranking:
Create dense_rank() or rank() option in sql using query
in the design phase is known as server based ranking. The
reason for this is, ranking of data is decided by the
server based upon the condition.

Usage:
Performance will be good.

fetched to the BO report and hence the performance
increases.

I have 2 tables. Table 1 is employee table and Table2 is department table. In employee table i have 1,2,3,4,5 emp id's,in Dept table i have various dept's like a,b,c and i have 2,3,4 emp id's in my dept table.I joined with these 2 tables.I want the results for equi join means how many records will fetch.In the same scenario i have to know the left outer join, right out join and full outer join resuls means how many records will come. can any body tell me the answers

I have only 1 dataprovider and using that i have to create 2 tabular report on Webi on same page. One report will display all the salary details and other report will display only max salary. How will you achieve this.
