webi:-- it is 3tier architecture. and also known as thin
client . in boxir2 wise merge option available,edit sql also.

hide option is not available, scheduling directly
doing.Reports will generate not only corporate doc's, others
also(excel,pdf--)

Infoview: webi is a part of infoview. it generates java
based reports. while open the reports through infoview.

deski: it is a 2 tier architecture. also known as full
client. Here hide option, edit Sql, rank options are available.

Infoview is just a portal through which we can view or
refresh or modify reports.

Web-I is also known as thin client and Desk-I is a thick
client.

if i hv 2 reports in one block... first report contains ten rows and second report contains 100 rows. my question is ....if i want to enter the values into first report(i want more than ten rows in first report)..is it possible to get ..

When a report in Web intelligence is created with ten objects and save the same as PDF the report divides the report into two pages. One page with data for five objects and the other with next five objects? Is there a way to combine these ten columns in a single page view?

I need to select the rows based on the latest 'Payment_due_date' column value. Let's say I have a Deski report with 3 columns: Payment_due_date, Cust_Name, Oustanding_Amt. Report is like this: ===================================== Payment_due_date,Cust_Name,Oustanding_Amt 02/28/11 , Bob, 115 03/31/11 , Bob, 90 02/28/11 , Mike, 120 02/28/11 , Susan, 220 05/31/11 , Bob, 80, 03/31/11 , Susan, 70 05/31/11 , Mike, 220 05/31/11 , Susan, 120 04/30/11 , Susan, 130 So,we would like to see (based on latest Payment_due_date) ================== 05/31/11 , Bob, 80, 05/31/11 , Mike, 220 05/31/11 , Susan, 120 Oustanding_Amt comes as SUM(Oustanding_Amt) from Universe. If we use Max(Payment_due_date),we do get one row but then, the column 'Oustanding_Amt' sums up. Not allowed to use do SQL Override .Context Operators aren't working. Thanks in advance:)
