what is HVDC, what are advantages over conventional system?
HVDC means High Voltage Direct Current...
Some of the advantages are can transmit high voltage. No
reactive and capacitance as in AC.Transmission cost is
less... Even one conductor is enough with another conductor
is earthed.Control of magnitude is possible.
Interconnection of asynchronous networks is possible..

How Can You Relate Power Engineering With Electrical Engineering?
when we r using 3.5 cable for a bldg. and put laod on each phase using the neutral and neutral is the return paht for the phase so the current of the neutral must be Ir+Ib+iY (return). But the size of the netural is .5 as comper to the phase.
