starting in industries?

starters are used in industries ,i have seen thousands of
motors starting through starters. you have to use
starter ,its type may change like dol,star-delta,soft-
starter,oil-starter,ats.

Is your question correct? All motors must be started with some
type of starters what more if they are used for industrial
purpose.
In addition to provide a safe mean of starting and stopping
the motor it should be able to to protect the motor itself.
With the help of a starter you can provide overcurrent and earthfault protection unauthorised starting unwanted stopping
and you can plan your starting and stopping as desired.

As per IE rule, we must use starter for morethan 3KW
motor.So please use starter, otherwise your motor may
burntout due to high starting current.

Actually In Industries Every Machine connected to motor
is to be respond as early as posible i.e with in
milliseconds,If u use starter motor has take some time to
take full load.

starer reduce starting current with adding the external
resistance with the armature in series ,because the
resistance of the armature is very less,so starting current
is very high .
I=V/R if r is less then curent is very high
to reduce the starting curent starter is used.
up to 5 hp motor dol starter is used
but in industries the rating of the motor is if higher
thane 5 hp then starter is not used
