What is difinition of HIGH RESISTANCE FAULT and LOW
RESISTANCE FAULT?

Answer / bryan
A high resistance fault is a fault that causes an over
current in the system but would not cause excessive heating
unless no action is taken for an extended period. A Low
resistance fault occurs and cause an output under voltage
situation and can lead to damage of the system if immediate
action is not taken to cut off the power stream.

remember guys and gentlemen it is all about measurement of resistance in circuits according to what is voltage you are to be given in circuit and resistor is the property or element of the circuit proportional to the voltage applied with resistor is known as resistance. resistance tells us how much current should have to flow in circuit or to other components in the circuit and limits the electron flow in circuit.however,in-short i say HIGH RESISTANCE MEANS low current flow depending about material of resistance or diameter of resistor and its length of wire, thickness of wire in circuit what you have for?
LOW RESISTANCE MEANS high current flow in circuit it is easy passage for electron to flow without collision in track.so,electron must encounter with resistor so the resistor should work properly.in practical and real world resistor never get shorted.resistor may considered open or high resistance these fault create in electronics world.

I have a 1000 kVA Transformer(11kV/0.415kV) and a APFC panel of 400 kVAR(LT).Now if i want to remove the LT APFC panel and install a HT(11kV) APFC panel on the HT side is the HT APFC panel will work same as the LT APFC panel(improve the power factor),if yes what will be rating of the HT APFC panel?what is the formula to calculate HT APFC panel rating???
