Why in DC drive u r using in Klin operation in Cement Plant?

Answer / ashok kumar
in DC motor speed control is very easy and for kiln
operation it required high starting torque , so we go for
dc motor but at the present scenerio we go for Ac motor
because initial cost of dc motor is very high and its
maintenance cost is also high.

Hi
Kiln need high starting torque, and DC motor have capability
to produce high torque for kiln rotation
Also dc drive have speed accuracy, we can increse/decrese
speed upto 0.1 v dc

dc drive is used for the following reasons
1 we need high torque.
2.we require speed.
3.ac can be used ,but there r some problems(due to high
cost)
4.cost of ac is more as rms is continues.

EXPLAIN WHAT BTU STANDS FOR(AIRCONS)
Is it good to short Neutral and Ground in the PLC or DCS main Power supply. Pls give YES or NO with reasons...? Simarpreet
i have 400/230v transformer and didnt done the neutral eatrhing. i connected one lamp to one phase and neutral to the earth. but the lamp is not glowing. again i connected neutral to earth and repeated the same. then the lamp is glowing. in the first condition i tested with a line tester also, at that time the tesrer is glowing what is happening i dont know can any one help me?
How does flights get the neutral(grounding)
What is referred to the electron in the outer orbit?
My system is 22kv/3.3kv transformer. client is asking to use NGR, but as we have dedicated Neutral Earthing systems which has a value less than 1 Ohm. So i want solid comparision. Why i should not use NGR as my system is already protected. Can any one help me to get out of this.how should i reply on basis of some great comparision and calculations. Please help

Thank,s and Regard,s. Muhammed Ikram.

Double Busbar Scheme for outdoor switch yard system (132kv) step up power plant Hi friends 1. in this system both busbars energized all the time. 2. what is the meaning of main BB and transfer BB, 3. step up transformer connect main bus bar all the time or both BB connected through DS switch . 4.bus sectionalization means ? thank you.
3 shows a 415 V, 3-phase generator supplying a 3-phase 415/110 V transformer. Draw the individual and combined impedance diagrams to a base of 10 kVA. Determine the system fault kVA and the fault currents at the 415 V and 110 V busbars for short circuit faults on the transformer input or output terminals. Work in p.u. values of impedances.
