The suitable MOC as well as suitable way is to use orifice
plate as it can with stand with high temperature as well as
high pressure.
The mass flow meter has the limitation that the fluid to be
measured should be clear if any slug flow occurs it will
make the meter output unpredictable.
For the non contact application rdiation type or radar type
instrument are advisable as they are not in contact with
the material so there is no need take the shut down of the
system to inspect/change the transmitter.
