Answer / dfsgf
Some times we applied same input at the terminals of op-
amp. for example 2,2+sinwt then op-amp should reject common
input component ,i.e 2 and amplyfies sinwt
that is CMMR

CMRR is the ratio of differential gain (Av) to common mode
gain (Acm) in a differential amplifier. Av=Vo/V1 - V2.
Acm=Vo/Vcm where Vcm=V1=V2.
Putting these values for CMRR,
CMRR=Av/Acm=Vcm/V1-V2
=V1/V1-V2
=V2/V1-V2
Now, V1-V2=Vcm/CMRR
For an ideal differential amplifier, CMRR=Infinite
Hence V1-V2=0 Or, V1 and V2 are almost at same potential.

Answer / raushan saxena
THE Efficacy of a differential amplifier is measured by the
degree of its rejection of common-mode signals in preference
to differential signals which is usually quantified by a
measure known as the common-mode rejection ratio.
CMRR =20log|Ad|/|Ac|

CMRR is the common mode rejection ratio. it is between
differential mode and common mode of the amplifier gain
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 1 Yes | 0 No |
Answer / shovik maitra
it is ratio of differential gain and common mode voltage gain.common mode voltage gain is ideally 0 and thus cmrr is ideally infinity

CMRR stand for common mode rejection ratio.The relative sensitivity of op-amp to difference signal compared to a comman mode signal is called common mode rejection ratio .
CMRR=AD/AC
Where ad=differencil voltage gain
ac=common mode voltage gain...

Answer / pats
The common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of a differential amplifier (or other device) is the tendency of the devices to reject the input signals common to both input leads. A high CMRR is important in applications where the signal of interest is represented by a small voltage fluctuation superimposed on a (possibly large) voltage offset, or when relevant information is contained in the voltage difference between two signals.

cmrr is the common mode rejection ratio.it rejects the common
mode signal and the noise is reduced.cmrr=20log(ad/ac). it is
a differential amplifier.
