Mux is nthing but the data selector, which has multiple
inputs and depending upon selector lines i/p it gives
single o/p.

it transmits number of signal through a signal which is
given by taking all the signals into consideration..
if we take TDM the digital signals with some guard bands of
time..(the spacing bn the pulses)is can be utilised by
other signals and transmitted as one signal

output. there is one more terminal called as select input
which decides which input terminal is to be selected to
send output.

it is nth but a data selector ....
it accepts so many singals as input and select only one as
output out of them.....
it is also called mux.......
in TDM we can access whole bandwidth of the channel....
but in fdm if we have 1mb and we req. 10kb then we can
transmit it through 100 channels each of b.w. 100kb
