Suppose there are two cylinders / vessels.In one cylinder the pressure is 1.5 bar & in other 0..

Answer / raghu

I think it depends upon the volume of the two vessels.
if the two vessels are having same volume then final
pressure may be 0.866 bar

Suppose there are two cylinders / vessels.In one cylinder the pressure is 1.5 bar & in other 0..

Answer / pavan

from the law of mixing of gases, the final presure after
micing two idial gases is, Pf=sqroot(p1*p2).
Pf=sqroot(1.5*0.5)=0.866bar.

Suppose there are two cylinders / vessels.In one cylinder the pressure is 1.5 bar & in other 0..

Answer / jeraldineduzon

pf=sqroot so., (1.5*0.5) isequals to 0.866bar.,

Suppose there are two cylinders / vessels.In one cylinder the pressure is 1.5 bar & in other 0..

Answer / karthick

always the fluid flows from high pressure side to low
pressure side.so there will be decrease in temperature and
pressure.inorder to find the properties (pr,temp,vol) of
any gas atleast two parameters must be given.any how if we
take the volume as constant also,temp should be given.

Suppose there are two cylinders / vessels.In one cylinder the pressure is 1.5 bar & in other 0..

Answer / srinivas

i think it as throttling process bcz it is opening through
valve the expansion takes till the pressure reaches to 0.5 bar

Suppose there are two cylinders / vessels.In one cylinder the pressure is 1.5 bar & in other 0..

Answer / phani

the two cylinder are connected by means of a valve so that
total pressure =p1+p2
p1 is first cylinder presu
p2 is second cylinder presure
