Checked Temperature and found it to be 800 Deg C whereas Set Point is 700 Deg c. It is strange why is temperature not at SP. Also response is 23 % with 21 % Inst Air and with N2 reading is not coming down. please clarrify this issuses very urgent
how to calculat suction head in centrifugal pump?
Explain what type of pump may be appropriate for a liquid near saturation, a low flow rate, and very limited npsha (net positive suction head available)?
Why LMTD is calculated in Heat -Exchanger problems..Why dont we take average temperature??
when liquid stored in spherical vessel, equilibrium shift towards liquid.what is the benefit of it?
Is there any way to repair a valve that is passing leaking internally without taking our process offline?
Explain what are the disadvantages of using gear pumps?
Explain global warming from a common man's and an engineer's perspective?
A concentric, counter-current heat exchanger is used to cool lubricating oil. Water is used as the coolant. The mass flow rate of oil into the heat exchanger is 0.1 kg / s = FO. For oil, the inlet temperature TIO = 100 degree Celsius and the outlet temperature TOO = 55 degree Celsius. For water, the inlet temperature TIW = 35 degree Celsius and the outlet temperature TOW = 42 degree Celsius. What is the mass flow rate of water in kg / s, FW needed to maintain these operating conditions? Constant for heat capacity of oil is CO = 2131 J /(kg K) and for water is CW = 4178 J /(kg K). Use the equation (FO)(CO)(TIO – TOO) = (FW)(CW)(TOW – TIW).
