Armature reaction refers to the magnetic field produced by the current flowing in the armature winding of a motor or generator. This magnetic field opposes the main magnetic field of the machine and can cause problems such as increased iron losses, torque pulsations, and saturation of the magnetic circuit. Proper design techniques are used to minimize the effects of armature reaction.

What is the difference between PS & metering CT (5p20,0.5 etc.)? Why in PS class CT only Vk is given ? Is PS class CT is more accurate than metering CT?
