How are freeway bridges built?
Answer / Ramanand Chaudhary
Freeway bridges are typically constructed using one of several methods, including the conventional method, balanced cantilever method, and incremental launching method. In the conventional method, segments are built on temporary supports, then lowered into place and connected to existing sections. The balanced cantilever method involves building two sections from each side and meeting in the middle, while the incremental launching method moves a pre-fabricated bridge section along rails as it is constructed.
