Dry Flashover is the level of voltage applied to a equipment body of having outdoor applications in dry condition, at which the flash over occurs between the phase and grounding part of the equipment.

Wet Flashover is the level of voltage applied to the equipment at wet condition, inwhich the flash over occurs.

The fanda behind this is equipment will have higher Dry Flash over voltage then the Wet flash over voltage.

Application Comparison between 22KV (UE)and 33KV (E) system. Are we allowed to use 33KV (E) cable in lieu of 22KV (UE) cable. What are the technical disadvantages.
