show answer/ calculate-1-2-4 ratio-concrete -cement-sand- metal-water - please brief calculation..

Answer / Vishesh Kumar Saini

The 1:2:4 ratio for concrete mix refers to the proportion of cement, sand, and aggregate (gravel or crushed stone). Here's a simple calculation example:
1. For 1 cubic meter of concrete:n - Cement: 1 part = 0.5 m³n - Sand: 2 parts = 1 m³n - Aggregate (Stone): 4 parts = 2 m³
2. If you want to calculate the weight, assume the following densities:n - Cement: 3000 kg/m³n - Sand: 1600 kg/m³n - Aggregate (Stone): 2700 kg/m³
3. Weight of cement = 0.5 m³ * 3000 kg/m³ = 1500 kg
4. Weight of sand = 1 m³ * 1600 kg/m³ = 1600 kg
5. Weight of aggregate (Stone) = 2 m³ * 2700 kg/m³ = 5400 kg
