piles bear the load by two methods

1 skin friction developed between wall of piles &
surrounding soil transfer the load to the beneath the soil.
2 End bearing piles distribute the load.

on hard strata or combination of both.

2)end bearing good strata is available below pile
thats why trasfer directly to strata by end of pile

What material should be used for casting the beam-column junction if beams and columns are of different grades?? For example concrete in beams and Columns is M20 and M25 respectively.
