P controller has an offset value and the desired value lies to surround the offset value. I controller does not have an offset value but the desired value tries to come closer to corrected value. But I controller and P controller has a longer response time. D controller the deviated value comes closer to the desired value and has a shorter response time.

we have taken HV test of 2.5 k and Megger test on 11 kv HT cable.here it shows no fault but when we are charging the same cable with 11 kv supply why the VCB 11 kv gets tripped can anybody define the possible cause of fault ?
