Dear Friends,

Need your help for connecting APFC panel,
Quotation : I have 2 Noâ€™s 1000 KVA Transformers, both transformers are having separate APFC panels, ( Tr-1,400KVAR, TR-2,450 KVAR)
Now I want to stop One transformer, present load is 650Amps, Max, So One transformer is enough, I have switched OFF TR-1, but PF is not maintaining properly, its 0.5, So now I want to connect TR-2 APFC also in TR-1 Loads, Can any one answer for my Quotation with drawing, how to connect TR-2 APFC panel in TR-1 Loads,

Please use a bus-coupler circuit breaker between the circuit breaker of TR1 and the circuit breaker TR2 with interlock (mechanical or electrical). When one TR is out the another TR will connect to another load and APFC by the bus -coupler circuit breaker

Please use bus -coupler circuit breaker between the o/p of the circuit breaker TR1 and the o/p of the circuit breaker of TR2 with mechanical and electrical interlock between the circuit breakers.When one TR gone out the another TR will connect to another load and APFC by the bus-coupler circuit breaker. good luck

you may switch on capacitors manually from APFC 2 to control the power factor. if you have the same bus bar connected to both transformers

you placed one ct tr -1 incoming ct connection given in Apfc-2 and apfc-2 power also take from tr-1.after you have 2 apfc panels working on one transformer.
