SIR MAY I KNOW IF RADAR TYPE LEVEL TRANSMITTER SHOWING IN THE FIELD 0 % LEVEL AND IN DCS SHOWING 1..

Answer / warren emmett

Firstly, you should use a loop simulator and simulate the
Milliamp range to the dcs 0 to 20 or 4 to 20 do this in 25%
steps. If the dcs responds to the signal then the problem is
with the radar transmitter. If the problem persists when
simulating the the problem is on the Input card. Could be a
zero volt issue, a faulty input card or a wiring issue
could even be software related. To remedy the radar if that
is deemed faulty then consult the manual, you might need to
adjust parameters or do mapping of the vessel when it is
empty. Hope this helps

SIR MAY I KNOW IF RADAR TYPE LEVEL TRANSMITTER SHOWING IN THE FIELD 0 % LEVEL AND IN DCS SHOWING 1..

Answer / prakash malviya

first u have 2 remove o/p wires of 4-20 ma then connect ma source with parellel this.then give 4& 20 ma...at 4 u see 0 %lvl & at 20 u find 100% lvl in dcs.if can't then u have 2 check from dcs side.in dcs check AI card particular channel for this.check wires grounding.
2nd condition if u find proper response in dcs with ma given to o/p wires..then go to the radar menu ..go to configuration..in that u find tank lvl...select full...then save it..
