how can calibrate vacume trasmitter by HART COMMUNICATOR ?..

for ex: the range is -760 to 0mmhg .
by following procedure we can calibrate the transmitter by
using hart
1.give the supply to transmitter
2: connect hart to transmitter with 250ohms series resistor
3.switch on the supply
4. hart shows device connected
5. go to process parameter and change the follwing
parameters
LRV:760mmhg
URV:0mmhg
then press send .then cross check the transmitter with
master pressure calibrator

5. LRV= (-)760 mmHG URV= 0 mmHG
6. apply pressure 760 mmHG to low pressure side and see the
output it will show 20mA.

In split range control, we will control 2 outputs with time interval. Eg :(with 4-20 ma signal, for 4-12 ma we are operating one control instrument like valve & for 12-20ma we are operating other control instrumet (other valve).
