A small change in the above answer, 1 feet=0.3048m
so, 1 m=1/0.3048
=3.281feet
so,6*6/162=0.222
So 0.222 kg for 1m length.
for 1 ft length,
0.222/3.281=0.068Kg for if 6mm dia bar
