The pavement in which no elastic property when aheavy
vehicle is moving on the road then it is cracked.No load
transfer layer to layer.rigid pavement is also known as
concrete pavement.

rigid pavement is nothing but the pavement made of cement
concrete slab.similar to the flexible pavement it also
consist of a subgrade,base course; oly the top course
varies.The top course will be asphaltic or bituminous
material for flexible pavement and cement concrete in case
of rigid pavement.The cost of construction of rigid pavement
is quite large.
