PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a type of insulation material used in electrical wiring. Copper (Cu) conductors are solid copper wires used for carrying electrical current, while copper-clad aluminum (Cu breaded wire) consists of an aluminum core covered by a layer of thin copper on the exterior. The differences between PVC Cu conductor and Cu breaded wire are:
1. Material: PVC is the insulation material, whereas the conductor is made of solid copper in PVC Cu conductor, while it's aluminum coated with copper in Cu breaded wire.
2. Cost: Copper conductors are more expensive than aluminum-based conductors like Cu breaded wire. However, PVC Cu conductors offer better electrical conductivity compared to aluminum conductors due to their solid copper core.
3. Weight: Copper conductors are heavier than aluminum-based conductors like Cu breaded wire.
