motors.then why dosen't it rotate just like any other motor

bcoz in transformer no rotating field is produced as in
induction motor
emf induced produces the effect which always opposes the
cause, here in case of induction motor cause is relative
speed of rotating field and rotor thats why it rotates to
reduce that relative speed.
