what will happen to give a dc supply in ac motor?

The AC motor will start to turn, then stop.
This is because AC motors are designed to create a magnetic
field, that starts the armature rotating.
Then the polarity switches, moving the magnetic field ahead
so the armature follows it.
DC power obviously doesn't reverse polarity so the armature
catches up to the field and stops.
I should mention there are different types of AC motor, and
my description doesn't cover all types.

I am using submission of two ct in one and half scheme for 67/67N protection. Both CTs star point is grounded separately near ct box. Will two point ground give wrong tripping to 67/67N during fault or no matter.
I want to ask a question which i faced during testing of Capacitive Voltage Transformer in AIS. We have measured the C1 , C2 individually , but when we start to measure the total C1+C2 , the testing equipment shuts down and says low loading. Kindly is it possible to find the total capacitance by using measuring device. kindly briefly explain the procedure.
