when Ly/Lx ratio is less than 2 then it is two way slab.
and if it is greater than 2 then it is one way slab.

way slab, more than 2 one way slab. the main reinforcement i
mean tension reinforcement one way slab only shorter
direction , twoway slab both direction provided main
reinforcement.load trnsmission oneway slab two direction
only i mean longer direction only, two way slab 4 direction
load transmit.

when Ly/Lx ratio is less than 2 then it is one way slab.
and if it is greater than 2 then it is two way slab.
it is valid only if all the four sides are supported. if the sides are not supported then it'll be one way slab independent of Ly/Lx ratio.
