Sir if i have 2kv ups in which 17ah 8 battries load 600watts
how much back up time i get and if i put 6kv ups with the
same no of battries same amp can i get more back up time
please give reply exactly what is the procedure to calculate
back up time for different kv,s

AH stnads for Amp hour capacity, Back up depends on the AH
capacity of the Battery.
For Examlpe if you have 100 AH batery of 2 volt, it means
at 2 volt and 1 amp load can give you 100 Hrs backup OR at
2 volt for 2 amps load the back up time will be reduced to
half i.e. for 50 Hrs only. simply You calculate A x H.

The KVA of UPS has nothing to do with back up time . The
back up time is = stored energy in watt hour/load in watt.In
this case Back up time = 17 x 8 x 12 (voltage of each
battery)/ 600 =2.72 hour

back up depending on you'r load so you have 17ah battery.
so u can put on the full load 600w taken 2.6A so this
is given backup for 6oow 6.5hr

3 shows a 415 V, 3-phase generator supplying a 3-phase 415/110 V transformer. Draw the individual and combined impedance diagrams to a base of 10 kVA. Determine the system fault kVA and the fault currents at the 415 V and 110 V busbars for short circuit faults on the transformer input or output terminals. Work in p.u. values of impedances.
