Split liner is that in which it takes only i part from the
injection volume and dicards the remaining 4 parts through
vent outside if the split ratio is 1:5
Splitless is that in which if 1µl is the injection volume
it takes full of it and vent is not present in splitless
liner.
So ultimately the responses will be high in Splitless than
in split

Split injection: In this mode only a portion of the inject
sample (1/50 part)reaches the column and rest is vented to
waste. it is used for concentrated samples (> 0.1 mg/mL).
Splitless injection: In this mode all the sample injected
passes through the column. it is used for trace samples (<
0.1 mg/mL)

the use of split is its increases the life time of column
and gc also it takes small amount of sample

In BP2013, Loperamid HCl monograph. Assay by titration with 0.1N sodium hydroxide using hydrocloric acid 0.01N and reading the volume added between the 2 points of inflexion. I have a question that if the diluent solvent is ethanol is certainly consumed a amount of volume of titrant, so this volume must be eliminated on the result calculation or not apart from first point which is subtracted above.

WHAT IS THE PARAMETER FOR THE SELECTION OF MOBILE PHASE IN HPLC?
hii, i'm had a sample of 1L that gone through extraction & evaporation. i used 0.5ml of methanol for reconstitution before injecting the sample to HPLC. i made a calibration curve using a standard solution but now i'm confused about how to display the concentration i got from the sample. for ex. i got 0.2ug/ml how i'm gonna explane this is for the 1L ? please help .. i'll really appreciate it thanks
