Split injection: In this mode only a portion of the inject
sample (1/50 part)reaches the column and rest is vented to
waste. it is used for concentrated samples (> 0.1 mg/mL).
Splitless injection: In this mode all the sample injected
passes through the column. it is used for trace samples (<
0.1 mg/mL)
