what is the kvar, droop, stability, ramp
Answer / karthikeyan
KVAR is the unit of reactive power (Kilo Volt Ampere
reactive). It is the amount of reactive power in the system.
Droop is defined as the rate of fall of the speed of a
alternator, which are connected in parallel, with increase in
load.
Stability is defined as the ability of a generator to remain
in synchronization even when there is a disturbance in the
system(Faults).

We know that primary transmission is done to reduce current so that i^2*r loss could be minimised but according to ohm's law v is directly proportional to i,which indirectly means higher potential difference means larger current?so how the current is minimised in high power transmission line??
