why in an electrical lab a bulb connected to supply goes off slowly when the main supply is switch..

Answer / the_dabi

Generally capacitors are connected across power supply for
power factor improvement and as a Harmonic filter. As we
know that capacitor having power storing property so when
power supply switch off all power stored by capacitors
discharge through connected load. That's why bulb goes off
slowly.

why in an electrical lab a bulb connected to supply goes off slowly when the main supply is switch..

Answer / deepak mishra

in our electrical system alwys there is capacitance as in
case of capacitor. it is well known, capacitance is the
electric charge storing capacity, actually it store
electric energy in the form of electric field.
when switch is off then this stored energy is discharge so
bulb goes off slowly. but remember this stored energy is
too less.

Is there a possibility to use such a treshold voltage for the NMOS part of a CMOS circuit that during the switching it will start conducting only after the PMOS part will be already closed, by this eliminating the leakedge current? Please note, I'm not asking about the well bias in standby mode, but about the "antileakedge" measures during normal operation.
