frist calculate total volume of your brick work
VOLUME OF TOTAL BRICK WORK= L*B*H
NO OF BRICKS = total volume of your brick work * 13.5(one
cubic feet of work requried 13.5 bricks including mortor)

L= LENGTH
B= BREADTH
H= HEIGHT
THEN CALCULATE VOLUME OF ONE BRICK WHATEVER MAY BE THE SIZE
OF YOUR BRICK= L X B X H
NUMBER OF BRICKS = TOTAL VOLUME OFBRICKWORK / VOLUME OF ONE

Firstly decide brick size=L X B X H=.23mm X.115mm X .075 mm
Number are brick in use=1/.23*.115*.075=504.09 bricks
Less two percent of cement mortar=504.09*2/100=10.08
Actual use nos of brick in 1cum=504.09-10.08=494 nos
