CC is abbreviated to CUBIC CENTIMETER(cm)i.e.total volume
of engine cyl. say body cylinder of the engine .
In simple language if we say then in cyl. in which we
insert our engine oil thats volume is called cubic
centimeter.

piston in moving from Top(T.D.C.) to Bottom(B.D.C.)

As correctly said above, CC stands for Cubic Centimeter...But how does it gets calculated...what is its significance...how do i explain it to an interviewer who go in detail asking about cc...for that I have a simple explanation @ my blog.
