when the synchronous motor operates beyond synchronous speed
delta(angle bt v&e) decreases.then magnetic torque decreases.and the hunting starts.

A synchronous motor always tries to achieve the
shynchronous speed. IF the motor is running with the higher
the syn. speed the direction of torque will be reversed and
motor will start working as a generator and will start
getting with the external source. and will come in syn.
speed. if there is a sudden change in speed of motor then
there will b hunting. in which the motor speed oscillates
about the syn. speed. thanx.

why dont we connect the two 12 V DC batteries in parallel, for an inverter (UPS)? is there any harm ?
