A transmitter is a device which converts physical quantity
(eg:flow,pressure,temperature and level) into electrical.
i.e 4-20 ma universal standard.
Pressure tranmitter converts the pressure in a vessel or in
a pipeline into electrical quantity.
for eg: a pressure tranmitter range is 0-200psi.
at 0%-4ma-0psi.
25%-8ma-50psi.
50%-12ma-100psi.
