Relation between nozzal flapper clearance and back pressure
is linear from 0.2 to 1kg/cm2 pressure range

starting from .2 is for live zero and .2 to 1 kg/cm2 is
because in this range the relation b/w flapper and nozzal
movment is linear,it was observed in starting of pneumatic
instrument after this it became standard....and still now

This is a standard which ws derived when pneumatic
instruments were in world being a good relationship was
observed in a range of 0.2 to 1.0 Kg/cm2. however, large
size high pressure final control element cannot operate
with such a low pneumatic pressure and it leads to
discovery of pneumatic positioners
