In other end we have the resistor for current limiting

in the tester rated 230v,and suppose resistance of tester in
megaohms,so the current will be less than 5 mA,it create no
hazard to human body,sowe don't get shock...

resister.There for the voltage is reduced by resistor.

Rating of voltage is 230V only. The current is low enough not to hurt us and just enough to light up the bulb. But, the same tester can't be used to check higher voltages. We use only the voltmeters and other devices to check supply in higher voltages. If we use tester, we get shock at those high voltages.

why the Different manufacture's rating of Gas genset are different? i.e : cummins genset rating is in KVA .( 625kv). While GE- Jenbacher make genset have rating in Kw. (625 kw)
