we touch other end of the tester supply, why do not get
shock?
Answer Posted / shashidhara
Rating of voltage is 230V only. The current is low enough not to hurt us and just enough to light up the bulb. But, the same tester can't be used to check higher voltages. We use only the voltmeters and other devices to check supply in higher voltages. If we use tester, we get shock at those high voltages.
