A Log Ratio Amplifier (LRA) is an electronic circuit used to amplify the output of a sensor whose output varies in proportion to the logarithm of the measured quantity. It works by converting the input signal into a voltage proportional to the logarithm of the input value, then amplifying it using traditional amplification techniques.nnIn simple terms, the LRA converts an exponential response from the sensor (which is difficult to amplify) into a linear response that can be easily amplified.
