what is purpose of using neutral grounding transformer in
generators??
Answer / sumanth kumar b
neutral groundig is done for the generator and transformers
because for transformers if any sort of a failure in the
neautral wire then the earthing of ground can act as a
neutral for some time.If neutral is not been used then due to
the neutral wire failure if we use the lighting loads then in
that we generally use any one phase let it be R phase and
neutral y phase act as a neutral so in a single phase two
phase current passes it causes more damage to the loads.that
is why we use neutral grounding
