IF we have three 30KW motor, these motors are connected in
DOL, star-delta and VFD respectively, what will be the fuse
rating for the above three?

IF MOTOR FUSE RATING IS 3 TO 4 TIMES OF THE MOTOR FULL
CURRENT.

30kw motor full load 54amps starting current upend on type of rotor like(single,double,deep bar cage) so single cage 4 to 5 times, double cage 3 to 31/2 times, deep bar 2 to 3 time at the time of starting. Now we can decide to witch of motor used as say above.

30KW DOL FLC= 52.5A, 30KW FASD FLC= 31.5A So 63A Fuse for
DOL & 50A for FASD

3-phase 30kw means 40.21Hp, so rated current is 60amps. We
can use 60amp rating.
