(1) First for star connections:line
current=1000/.75*1.73*.75*440=1.75 A for both line &
phase.
(2) For delta connections; Line current=1.75A
Phase current=1.75/1.73=1A
Note: There no use of Motor efficiency here.

BECAUSE IF THERE IS A RATING GIVEN
IN TERMS OF KW. IT IS ALWAYS THE
OUTPUT POWER OF THE MOTOR..
SO WEE NEED TO CONVERT IT TO
INPUT POWER IN ORDER TO COMPUTE THE
CURRENT.
